Hello, and thank you so much for becoming a sponsor for Tosuun through our foster program.
Tosuun was rescued in October 2024 from a shelter in Chuncheon together with her mother Charlotte and her siblings.
The pups who were friendly and responsive to human touch, including mother Charlotte, all found their forever homes through adoption. However, Tosuun and her brother Danggu were quite shy from the beginning.
So in early last year, they came to a tierheim where they could receive more frequent, warm human contact.
When Tosuun first arrived, she was so fearful that she spent all her time running away.
But gradually she opened her heart, and now she's grown to love her caregivers so much.
She follows her teachers around and gets so excited when we call her name that she bounds about happily. Yet when we get close and try to pet her, she's still a little cautious about accepting our touch directly.
So we make sure to call her name more often and have a special "date" with her once a day—we invite her into her kennel, and there in her safe space, we slowly and gently pet her.
Tosuun really loves the gentle touch she receives inside.
We also call her by the nickname Ttottoni instead of Tosuun. When we call out her special name in that familiar rhythm— "let's have a date~" —she gets so excited she doesn't know what to do with herself.
When we call her name, she bounds around with anticipation, comes close, and gives such a bright, joyful smile. It's impossibly endearing.
Sometimes when she's being petted inside her kennel, she might look frozen or scared at first glance,
but the truth is she's loving every moment of it.
Every day we're building these special moments with Tosuun. ^^

이름을 불러줄 때 설레서 폴짝폴짝 뛰어다니고 가까이 다가와 해맑게 웃는 모습이 얼마나 사랑스러운지 몰라요.
켄넬 안에서 손길을 받는 모습이 언뜻 보면 얼어있거나 무서워하는 것처럼 보일 수도 있지만,
사실은 엄청나게 좋아하고 있는 중이랍니다.
매일 이렇게 토순이와 특별한 시간을 쌓아가고 있어요. ^^
