Doyoung was rescued from Hanam City Animal Shelter in early 2025.
At the time of rescue, he displayed somewhat high excitement levels, so he received training at a training facility before coming to the Brown Rescue Team adoption center.
At the adoption center, we are consistently providing basic manners training and socialization work.
Doyoung is very intelligent and learns quickly, following along well with the ongoing training.
He is a bright and affectionate boy who especially loves people.
Introduction & Observation Notes
Doyoung can wear a leash and tolerate basic handling, and through ongoing focused training and care, his basic obedience continues to develop steadily. He can respond to touch and is forming positive relationships with people, but may respond with his mouth during situations requiring nail care or behavior redirection. His biting intensity is characterized by a quick bite-and-release rather than biting and shaking.
He shows high interest in other dogs and actively tries to approach dogs beyond fences. There have been instances where he attempts to bite without warning when excited. He reacts sensitively to the movements of other dogs.
In the play yard, he tends to explore around fence perimeters looking for escape routes and may attempt to climb over using gaps or structures, so careful safety management is needed. When small dogs are present beyond the fence, he has been observed trying to insert his head or use his front paws to reach them.
He can manage kennel living and is controllable on leash. His relationship with people and training are progressing steadily, but he will require ongoing education and management after adoption. He needs a guardian who understands his behavioral traits and can responsibly care for him.
