Beri was designated for euthanasia at the Anseong Shelter early this year. After Brown Rescue Team rescued her, we unfortunately discovered she was infected with hepatozoonosis. This led to a long treatment period for Beri. Due to these circumstances, Beri has not yet found her forever family and is currently receiving care at Brown Rescue Team's adoption center.
Introduction & Observation Notes
She's a bit timid and gets nervous around unfamiliar people and places. She's also very sensitive to sounds like car noises and wind. However, once she gets comfortable with you, she warms up quickly! She absolutely loves treats and rolling around in grass and dirt during walks. She walks well on a leash and climbs stairs without issue, but she gets startled by people passing by or sudden noises, so you'll need to hold the leash firmly. Once bonded, she becomes very affectionate and loves playing with your hands. She enjoys toys and plays happily on her own. She's not a fan of water and gets quite anxious during baths. She's a smart girl who knows where her space is and will find her way there.
