Basic Temperament: May need some time to adjust to new environments, though this stems more from sensitivity to unfamiliar people or objects (such as people with umbrellas) rather than the space itself. Consistent desensitization training to everyday new stimuli is essential even after adoption.
With People: Loves people and becomes playful once comfortable. Shows wariness toward strangers (especially men) and may bark intensely or be cautious, but is improving significantly through consistent socialization training. With time and a slow approach, positive relationships can be formed.
With Other Dogs: Generally gets along well, though has high energy and play style can be somewhat rough. Gets along best with dogs of similar size, energy level, and good social skills.
Energy Level: Very 'very' high. Light daily walks alone may be insufficient, and if activity needs aren't fully met, energy may be expressed in undesirable ways. Daily adequate ball play, tug play, mental stimulation, and other activities are necessary.
Ideal Home: A dedicated and active guardian who can positively channel the dog's abundant energy and provide endless diverse and enriching activities and stimulation. Or a home with an active companion dog to help burn off energy together.
Special Notes: Has very high play drive and food motivation, showing great potential to excel at advanced training.
