Basic Temperament: Kendi is comfortable in stable, familiar environments but shows heightened sensitivity to unfamiliar places and new situations, requiring ample adjustment time and careful management.
With People: Kendi is cautious around strangers and doesn't open up easily. While not displaying aggressive behavior, natural calling and touch are challenging, requiring time and patience.
With Other Dogs: Kendi gets along well with dogs she knows and is comfortable with.
Energy Level: Kendi has a low energy level and may feel hesitant about walks. Rather than varied and vigorous activities, she benefits most from appropriate socialization and unhurried, meaningful connection with her person.
Ideal Home: A patient guardian who respects Kendi's pace rather than expecting quick bonding, who can wait with plenty of time and celebrate small progress alongside her.
Special Notes: While Kendi shows good interest in food, her caution makes it difficult for her to take treats directly from a person's hand at this stage. She is currently undergoing touch desensitization and socialization training. With patience and time to build trust gradually, she can be expected to show increasing positive changes.
