Haengboki (BR-2026-0099) was a pup living in a metal cage in the basement of Yangsan City Animal Shelter in 2024. When Brown Rescue Team staff members visited to rescue 'Happy'who was showing severe stereotypic behaviors, Haengboki came to the Brown Adoption Center along with several other dogs. Haengboki 'Haengboki~ Haengboki~'will come running over wiggling all the way through his bottom when you call him — such a joyful friend! However, he's a cautious boy who shies away when you try to touch him. Because he's a mixed breed and has this special nature of loving people while avoiding physical contact, he's still waiting at the adoption center to find his forever family.

Basic Personality: Haengboki loves people but is still just a little shy on courage. However, he's working very hard to be brave and practicing to receive affection, so he should warm up to people quickly. He prefers resting in cool, shady spots over sunny areas and absolutely loves food and treats. With People: He can be a bit cautious with strangers, but warms up quickly once he recognizes them. When his favorite people call his name, he wiggles his bottom excitedly and comes over — such a cutie! Once he arrives, he scratches at your arms wanting pets right away. With Other Dogs: He's not very wary of other dogs, but he doesn't enjoy rough-and-tumble play with dog friends. He loves napping cuddled up bottom-to-bottom with his friends. When around other dogs, he's calm and mellow.
