In September 2025, Taepyeong was classified for euthanasia just before the Wanju-gun Shelter closure. She was subsequently rescued by the Brown Rescue Team. She is currently in temporary foster care with the intention of adoption.

She's a bright and positive pup who lives up to her name. She approaches both people and other dogs first, naturally brightening the mood around her with her charm. With an ever-smiling expression and friendly nature, she's a lovable companion who spreads happiness to everyone she meets. With a medium-to-high energy level, she's become noticeably more active while living with young puppies recently, and enjoys playing and running with her friends to burn off that energy. She's most content with plenty of walks and playtime. She truly loves people and is like the ambassador dog of the adoption café—approaching strangers first with affection and showing excellent social skills. She gets along well with most dogs, though she can be cautious around strong-willed friends or some male dogs. However, she bonds joyfully with dogs whose temperaments match hers, especially getting along wonderfully with female dogs and having a blast playing with energetic young puppies. She loves treats and toys, and considers spending time with people a great joy—she's particularly fond of sweet potatoes and corn. She's adorably clever, holding corn with her front paws and neatly eating just the kernels. She'd thrive in a home that can meet her activity needs, with guardians who can take her on daily walks and various activities, and ideally with another playful dog companion. Homes with spacious living rooms or yards where she can run freely would make her happiest. No health concerns.
