Jeombagi was rescued from a dog farm approximately 10 years ago. Shortly after rescue, she suffered from distemper and went through a difficult time. Now in her senior years, she is cared for by Brown Rescue Team's adoption center. We kindly ask for your continued support so that senior Jeombagi can spend her remaining days in comfort.
Introduction & Observation Notes
Basic Temperament: Dislikes being bothered by other dogs. Loves people very much, and when asking for water, she sticks out her tongue and makes adorable sounds. She enjoys going outside to see the sunshine and loves taking walks in her wheelchair. When staff arrives in the morning, she drags her legs toward them while vocalizing, so she loves being picked up.
With People: Loves people
With Other Dogs: Shows discomfort when approached or stepped on
Energy Level: Low
Recommended Home: Only child household
Special Notes: She frequently has eye discharge and yellow nasal mucus, so regular wiping of her nose and eyes is necessary. She requires 8ml of stool softener once daily in the morning and needs belly massage and gentle rubbing. When she doesn't eat, subcutaneous fluids (180cc) are beneficial. She is picky with food and needs alternating different kibbles to eat. She may eat both morning and evening meals at once, but sometimes doesn't eat well, so she may be fed 4 times a day. Due to low activity levels and constipation, she has bowel movements once every 2-3 days, and urinates once to twice daily.
Medical History
Due to aftereffects from distemper, she has hind limb paralysis and abnormal calcium levels, requiring monthly fluid therapy.
