4. Temporary Foster Agreement
1. Article 1 (Foster Period and Adoption Intention Check) One month after beginning temporary foster care, the Brown Rescue Team will contact you to ask if you wish to adopt. If you would like to adopt, we will proceed with the formal adoption process. If you prefer to continue with temporary fostering only, we will respect your decision.
2. Article 2 (Safety Management — No Off-Leash) You must never remove the leash during outdoor activities such as walks (off-leash is strictly prohibited). Always keep doors to entrances, balconies, windows, and other areas with escape risks closed. When traveling by vehicle, please use safety restraints. Since lost dogs can pose a life-threatening risk, this clause must be strictly followed.
3. Article 3 (Cooperation with Return Requests) The foster dog remains the property of Social Cooperative Brown (Brown Rescue Team) during the temporary foster period. If we request return of the dog due to the dog's health, safety, adoption progress, or other unavoidable circumstances, you must cooperate without delay. If return does not occur without legitimate cause, we must respectfully inform you that we may pursue civil and criminal liability. This is a promise we make together to protect the dog through mutual trust.
4. Article 4 (Cooperation with Updates, Photos, and Videos for Adoption Promotion) To help the dog find a good family, the Brown Rescue Team may periodically ask for updates during the foster period and request photos and short videos for adoption promotion. Photos and videos you send will be used solely for adoption promotion purposes on the Brown Rescue Team YouTube channel, brown.or.kr, and other platforms. Personal information such as your face and name will not be disclosed without your consent.
5. Article 5 (Internal Review and Application Rejection) The temporary foster application will be reviewed internally by the Brown Rescue Team, and approval will be determined based on the review results. Depending on the review outcome, your application may be rejected. We ask for your understanding that rejection decisions are made in the best interest of both the dog and the applicant, and we may not disclose the specific reasons for rejection. If rejected, your submitted application and personal information will be immediately destroyed.
I have read and agree to Sections 1–3 (confirming adoption intent after 1 month, prohibition of off-the-record arrangements, and prompt cooperation with return requests) and Section 5 (application may be rejected based on internal review with reasons not disclosed, and immediate destruction upon rejection). (Required)
Section 4 — I agree that Brown Rescue Team may periodically request updates about the dog and ask for photos and videos for adoption promotion purposes. (Required)
