Salt has a naturally calm temperament, though she occasionally shows initiative by asking friends to play and will take a quick lap around the exercise yard. However, since we see these active moments no more than once a day, it's hard to call her an energetic dog. She maintains a good relationship with other dogs but shows caution around people. She has never shown any aggression and is currently learning to accept gentle petting while in her kennel. Salt has no interest in food-seeking behavior. She eats slowly, often spitting out and rechewing even small training treats multiple times.
