When Mali first came home, she seemed uncomfortable with the unfamiliar environment and stayed quiet inside the house.
Her round house became her most comfortable spot, and we spent our time together moving cautiously with each other.
But today, on day 3 of our walks, Mali is doing so well! The little one who wouldn't move at first, like ice, is walking so brightly and confidently. Watching her sniff around and slowly enjoy the outside world made me so proud.
We take short walks at Mali's pace, but I can feel her expression becoming more relaxed with each passing day.
While there's still a long journey ahead, I'm spending each day happily with Mali as she slowly opens her heart.
